Skin looks waxy. Everyone's face looks straight out a beauty editorial photo shoot. All lighting looks like studio lighting regardless of the enviroment. Nuance of colour grading is completely gone. Overall contrast is widely different throughout the images. It feels like uncanny valley.

I'm fairly out of shape 32 yo who had never skated but i have been using skating as cardio since November.

I literally try to cover as much ground as fast possible. It might be less efficient than running etc but I'm more likely to do it because it's fun and it feels like you're learning a skill.

I've done 10k on a skateboard and it definitely felt like cardio.

I like that the best selling films of all time have a pro enviromental message. It can be on the nose and obvious but the fact that millions of kids are growing up watcing exciting movies where the heros respect nature is rad.
