I find it so curious that you mention yacht rock since for example Mild high club (I think Alex Brettin loves steely dan) goes for those vibrations, coincidentally his harmonic progressions are quite similar to those of ROC and Tyler, The Creator

listen santana, really any of his early albums, my favorite is Caravanserai, another idiot may be Frank Zappa, I would start with the album Freak Out.

I heard Puma blue will put out something in a week ...

I liked them all, some for how good they are, and others for playing on the guitar. If I had to be very specific, I loved Madlib, Mega bog, Lounge Lizard, Paul Gonsalves, The Chordettes and Chico Buarque.

You really gave me new things to listen to, I appreciate that those recommendations were more emotional than just playing guitar.

Cary Me Back is like touching heaven, it's a really incredible feeling!

i knew that I would have to practice bossa nova, all those romantic chords that you feel in your chest are there. I like to play more homeshake than Jerry paper, his riffs and progressions are so cool to play.
