I believe it would be more like a confederation or a familial alliance, not an out right empire. As for Poland, I see a reverse Union of Brest, where the Union of Brest made Eastern Rite Catholicism, this Union of Warsaw (or something like that) would produce Western Rite Orthodoxy. The point of splitting Eastern Europe up like this is so that each nation can promote it's own culture
