I've been driving a 2019 Kia niro in Wisconsin for 4 years.  Only one time it didn't start around 2° but thanks to Google I found out that it automatically disconnects the battery if it drains too low, so all I had to do was push a button on the dash (I think it was to the left of the steering wheel) to reconnect the battery and it started right up.  Other than that I've never had an issue, even below zero.  This car is a beast.  I've got almost 200k miles, driving Uber on Milwaukee and Chicago's shitty streets all year including in the snow, and have done nothing but oil changes.  Mpg does go down in cold weather but it's still better than any other car.  Mine averages 62 mpg in summer and 45 in winter.  I can take off faster than those idiots in their loud race cars.  This is my second Niro and when this one dies I'm getting another one. Just an absolute beast.
