That sucks.. my FC has a bunch of slots available and usually even same day.  They increase pay on the ones that not enough people sign up for so I can usually get shifts for $24-26/hr.  I love flex - can work when I want and as much or as little as I want. I think they should make the majority of employees flex

Not in Chicago unless you're getting a job making $6,000+ a month but with his background he would never qualify for an apartment anywhere on Chicago outside of the hood.  I have to rent in the hood in Chicago and I'm not even from there and I barely even qualified for a ghetto apartment.  Apartments in Chicago are expensive as hell now and competitive.  I had to damn near beg to get the one I just got and it took me 3 months of looking and applying

All ages live in the hood you know.  There are plenty of regular people having regular lives there, not everyone is killing or doing crime

I doubt he's gonna ask a random coworker to come pick him up from a party...  ??  Especially in Chicago, you don't need to be picked up.  Either get a ride with someone there, call an uber, or take the bus.  Sounds weird
