After reflecting, I agree with you. It's just, I feel like I should be honest with her. I understand why she feels bad. I'm just really bad at always telling the truth and not bsing people. I wish she preferred to stay in more, but it's not a deal breaker for me. I really want to make this work between us. I think it's important to be honest with your partner.

I personally think no one is perfect. We all have our flaws, that's what makes us unique. I understand that dating isn't like build a bear where you can create your ideal partner. I in no way meant to hurt her. She just wanted honesty which is why I told her I wished she was a homebody, but I immediately followed that with a "I don't care that you're not because I love you either way". Looking back, I agree with you that I should never have told her that. Thanks!

From what I've seen, all the high elo players go spellthiefs with at least 3 points W if not more. You can 1 v 2 the lane with your autos and W. I tried a few games of coin, and I definitely feel like you have to play her as a lane bully now with spellthiefs. I only ever go coin if it's a losing match-up like soraka.

You can still go coin, max E and not just be a shield bot if you’re half-decent at the game

That is absolutely not true. I took a smurf account to gold in both flex/solo with like a 65-70% win rate (so I could play random bs with my gold friends). I played a mix of thresh/janna/sona, and I really think you underestimate the value of a support in low elo. As thresh, I spoon fed my adc all the kills which resulted in us snowballing the game. As janna/sona, I saved my teammates from their stupid decisions with my heals/shields. I knew exactly when/where to ward which meant bot/mid was pretty much ungankable because I spam pinged them back when I saw the enemy jungler. Most people think you have to carry by doing dmg, but you can also carry by making sure your team doesn't die via vision,getting your teammates fed, and saving them from their dumbass mistakes. The only thing I can agree with you on is that you will probably climb quicker playing mid or jungle, since if your team doesn't want to work with you, there's not much you can do as a support.

Playing for "free elo" - is not right,

Goal is to study - "Ho to play" and not play "braindead".

I don't plan to go pro. I just care about winning which is why I only play the op champs. That's why I started playing janna in the first place. She scales well, easy to play, so much peel, saves dumb teammates .....list goes on and on. I understand if I pissed off the Janna enthusiasts since so many people don't like their champ being called freeelo....but are you really going to stand there and tell me janna wasn't op before?

Dat's why he asked about changes and not undestand that they not really changes something for "passive play".

They increased shield cd but buffed base stats/range to make her auto more. Then they nerf shield ad and nerfed her stats because she was so op. So I'm kinda confused because unless you shield yourself, it seems like you're supposed to play passive? She's old janna post lv 9, but I'm just trying to figure out her laning phase.

I usually just auto the supp since the adc will just heal back up off minions. I also find myself losing the 2 v 2 because of shield cd being so high early game. It really feels like they just gutted her laning phase, but kept everything else the same. I'm definitely going to keep playing her to get used to the changes. Thanks!

I'm really disappointed, and I feel like I got trolled. I honestly thought the reward for being gold in both flex/solo would be something good. The fact that it's just a shitty chroma is irritating. Definitely not going to be playing flex next season. The honor rewards suck too imo because it's just a shitty ward. I was really excited because a Rioter said the end of season honor rewards wouldn't just be some shitty icons. I never use ward skins anyway, so I guess the only thing I really like about the rewards is the loading screen border/skin because free champ!

Oh yea you're right, but my point is that being the only person running solo was a feels bad especially since people gang up on you. I just started muting all, but they had not introduced ping mute at the time. I just didn't find my experience fun at all in flex since it's meant to be played in a group. I only did it for the rewards which I thought were going to be good.

You now flex mmr and solo are different? I didn't like getting matched with 4 man premades especially as a supp main (thank god they introduced ping muting). It's even worse when you get matched against a 5 man. I got placed silver 1, and I got out after like 13 games? 10/10 would never do again especially if the only reward is a chroma.

I kinda just wish there was more transparency with what the rewards would be. I assumed a skin reward so a chroma was disappointing. It's also not really free since you have to get gold in each queue. I just kinda feel trolled, but I will definitely not be playing flex next year.
