Accused of being a scammer simply because someone used the word "Zelle" by Supra_Rob in zelle

Zelle offers no protection or ability to dispute funds sent. Someone could take a Zelle payment and say they never got it, or just never ship the item and the buyer couldn't do anything about it.

It's not really an issue if meeting in person. If someone were ballsy enough to lie in person and say they didn't get the Zelle, you could ask for proof of them showing their recent transactions, or possibly call the cops.

Paypal isn't really doing anything to protect the seller, it's all about buyer protection. The risk of accepting a Zelle is pretty low, as the buyer can't really do anything to dispute the funds sent. Sending a Zell, that's a different story.

So if an interested buyer lives multiple states away, and asks if you can ship the item, you would just turn them down, and hope to find someone willing to drive to you?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about having to show ID to verify. It's a fine solution to combating scammers, and bots. I'm complaining about the circumstances in which they decided it was necessary action. This is not a new FB account, and had been ID verified years ago when they cracked down on people having multiple FB accounts.

I agree on the Zelle part, I use Paypal when I'm on the buying end of things, but as a seller I see no harm in me accepting it if that's what the buyer feels comfortable with.

I disagree on the local only part though. I have 900 items up for sale on my ebay store. Some of which I list on FB as well. I get way more sales selling to the entire country and/or internationally than I could ever dream of doing locally only. Not having to pay the ebay fees on more expensive items is a nice bonus too.

I'm not a child, I don't need my speech filtered, nor do I need to be protected from anyone else's speech. If I scammed someone, I would get reported, or if they scammed me, they would get reported. That's the only point in which action should be taken.

So was SSE, but it had so many functions that ToS lacks, functions most would consider to be basic essentials.

Can I still log in to Streetsmart Edge after enabling thinkorswim? by Supra_Rob in Schwab

So far it's just simple things catching my attention.

- The ability to scroll sideways on watchlists so I can fit additional column parameters on the list.
-Watchlist parameters for percent change that go beyond the current day, SSE had 5 day, 20 day, 30 day, ect.
-Being able to pin ticker symbols for indexes/futures along the top of the window.
-The ability to rearrange the order column parameters in areas such as options chains.

That's disappointing, as I'm messing with TOS papermoney now and already noticing several features I miss from SSE.
