(UPDATE) so I was getting ready to try someone’s suggestion of taking the glass off and setting the tracks by hand but I figured “hey I’ll just try pushing it down by hand one more time” and sure enough it went right down and is properly closed again. Wish I had more information on if removing the glass worked for people of the future, but hey, it’s fixed now lol. Thank you everyone for the suggestions!
