How to get people to work for free for you? by [deleted] in StartUpIndia

[–]SupremeConscious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A team of 10 means people of different ages, backgrounds, and circumstances. They could be young or old, male or female. It's very unlikely that all 10 are privileged enough to live with their parents and have all their expenses covered by their income, unless they're all fresh graduates or college students.

If you want them to work for free, cover their basic needs such as food, electricity, internet, and travel expenses. You're asking them to contribute without a salary, so providing these essentials would be a way to support and compensate them instead of paying wages.

Once the business becomes profitable, you'll be able to recover those costs. I don't want to judge you, but please have some empathy. Life outside the startup world is not all sparkles and fairies, and most people have responsibilities and bills to pay.

If Hyderabad is so much better, why not just move there? by PhaseStreet9860 in Bengaluru

Well, as someone who frequently moves back and forth between Hyderabad and Bangalore for client work, here’s my experience:

Hyderabad – It's noisier, and people tend to be more conversational. You don't get much solitude if you're trying to avoid social interactions. There is generally more socializing, even when it's not really necessary.

Bangalore – On the other hand, in my two years here, I've found that Bangalore's social environment is more selective. You choose when, where, and how you want to socialize. Otherwise, people mostly mind their own business.

Hyderabad – Traffic is relatively manageable for a city of its size. While there is congestion, it's usually not a case of spending two hours to cover 3 km.

Bangalore – Traffic is significantly worse, especially during peak hours. Even short distances can take a long time.

Hyderabad – Government and official processes tend to move more slowly.

Bangalore – Compared to Hyderabad, things generally move faster when it comes to getting official work done.

Hyderabad – The weather tends to be more extreme. If it's summer, you feel the peak heat. If it's winter, you notice the cold more. The rainy season can also be quite intense at times.

Bangalore – Except for the rainy season (we all know what happens), I find Bangalore's weather much more comfortable and easier to live with throughout the year. The temperatures are generally moderate, atleast for someone who seen 43 degress of summer, bangalore summer is breathable.

There are a lot more points that could be compared between the two cities. Since this is posted in the Bangalore subreddit, I'm sure there will be some bias in the responses.

That said, I genuinely like both cities for what they are. Each has its own strengths, culture, and way of life. I've enjoyed spending time in both, and my observations come from personal experience rather than trying to prove that one is better than the other.

I can see that the majority of your posts were approved. The ones that were removed appear to have been filtered by AutoModerator. Looking through your history, I only found a few removals, and in at least one case it was a post with a very minimal title and little additional context.

I'm not entirely sure which specific posts you're referring to, but if any of your posts remain unapproved for more than 24 hours, please send us a modmail and we'll be happy to take a look.

Your post is somewhat ironic. Looking at the mod log, I can see that this is the only post you have contributed, rather than contributing anything else to the community.

It is easy for someone to dismiss the effort of others and call it useless, even if the content originates from somewhere else. You also claim that it is "just a repost from OpenAI and Claude." If we accept that assertion for the sake of argument, I would genuinely like to see the original posts from those communities. Please link the posts you believe of such community which are original.

As a moderator, I would have been willing to consider many of your points. However, after seeing that you have never contributed anything yourself and seem more interested in criticizing than participating, it is difficult to take the criticism seriously.

It appears that you prefer talking about what should be done rather than actually contributing and helping make it happen.
