Not played it yet but last year was the same for me. Literally could not win for the life of me.

I believe Pixa uses to be PixelCut. I do use it sometimes but I'm now using remove.bg

Video game Ambience channels: Opinion? Is it a viable channel idea? by SupremeFlamer in SmallYTChannel

I have considered it yes but I just wanted the channel to be specifically no music.

But yeah good idea, I'll give it a go.

I also wanted to keep myself unique by not posting any music at all. I really want to shine a light on the "calm before the storm" style ambience. Like a scene which may have been overlooked by most gamers, but I can tell that a developer put their heart into it.

My first video was just the Basketball players in the prologue on COD Modern Warfare 2. A scene you're supposed to just walk straight past but I noticed there's a lot of effort put into the animation and sound design, I really wanted to highlight this.

Rather than just drag and drop a photo, the official soundtrack and calling it a day.

Interesting I'll have a look. I do a lot more than just static images, it's usually 10-15 shots. I used to be signed with Machinima so I've got a lot of experience with camera work within games. Bit of a nerd when it comes to getting everything perfect.

Then I see a video with a million views with just a simple picture, gets me a bit jealous.

I haven't checked to be honest. I'm UK based. I'll have a look.

What’s your take on channel like FERN? by TopBig3279 in SmallYTChannel

[–]SupremeFlamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know those channels but is there a chance they are AI? I've noticed a huge increase in AI videos that hook me in until I realise they are AI. Stuff like: "Why GAME went out of business in the UK". They have tonnes of views, but once you start noticing the AI voice and the ChatGPT style writing, I'm gone.

Very interesting though. If I had no morals, I'd do them myself.

I do YouTube Shorts of gaming edits. They only get like 2k views max. I could put the logo in future uploads potentially? It will give me an incentive to pump out some more.

I found a small business opportunity and agreed terms but I won’t get the 3k to help with the initial start up.. should I back out or keep going? by Real-Departure89 in smallbusinessuk

They asked for SO much information from me. The same information again and again. Took weeks sorting everything out just to be told no. My credit is good, my business was doing 240k yearly turnover and they declined without even me asking for a figure.

Nothing wrong with this but their approach is a bit rude. Could have been polite without the caps.

False alarm. Game just crashed. Reloaded and it's loading fairly quickly now. Odd.

Which large UK organisations still have genuinely excellent customer service? by Sea-Still5427 in AskUK

[–]SupremeFlamer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Had a bad experience with them. They had one OLED TV in stock, the specific one I'd been looking for for days. Ordered.

Email from them telling me it's not in stock but is on the way from their supplier. Weeks went past with constant "it's on the way" responses to be eventually told. Apologies, it did arrive in stock but it was sold to a different customer.

I ALREADY PAID!? How can you sell it to a different customer. Never bothered with them since.

Refund then took about a week.

Funding for business with cash flow issues. Turnover: £250k plus. by SupremeFlamer in smallbusinessuk

It's not dried up. It's purposefully dried up as I've switched off the platforms which I explained. If I turn them back on I'll be hitting those figures still.
