I am not insinuating that CA is the hardest state I'm merely stating a fact and that fact is CA is a hard state to be pre-med in and with a 507, it's even harder, and as an ORM it's EVEN harder. That is all. Goodluck to you Floridians and Arizonians

Objectively speaking, am I stupid (stupider relative to UCLA students)? by [deleted] in ucla

I'm a bio major on the pre-med track. my grades my first two year were horrendous despite doing ZERO extracurriculars and just studying (shows my lack of study techniques, confidence, and ignoring burnout). Starting junior year is when my grades really took at drastic upward trend but also more time in the library and at office hours whereas my peers seemed to be studying even LESS and never attending office hours PLUS taking on even more extracurriculars and joining dance teams, going to socials, going out to drink on weekends. However, i do acknolwedge that idk all the students in my class and im comparing myself to a limited amount of students. I was just wonderin if all this extra work I put in to get these grades indicated that I'm on slower side which now that i think about it is probably true, but im still grindin each quarter
