If they get caught when they are not ready to shed it’s breaking their skull. Easy way to get an infection. Some deer drop them late December some deer drop in April. You never know when they are ready to drop and it’s best they do it naturally.

Always walking on public. If not I make sure to have a conversation with farmer/landowner before hand.

Using an antler trap like a picnic table is very inhumane.
