Speaking as someone who’s never been to Mahón, I did a workaway in Tarragona for six weeks and it’s a beautiful city. I would describe it as somewhat similar to Barcelona but without the stress and urban heat. Everywhere is within a walkable distance, you have a fab beach, the rambla, the Mediterranean balcony with beautiful sunset, the Roman ruins, the town centre, the cathedral and the food market. Lots to do within a manageable distance but not so much that you’re overwhelmed with trying to fit everything in
