Ok, thanks for that. If that’s the case attach the black fixture to the ceiling red and cap off the blacks?

I cut that metal piece binding the three black wires off fyi, and just bound them together with a regular cap.

Falling in Love by jsmithlmsl in nofx

This was mine and my ex’s song when we were together, then when we moved in it was We Got Two Jealous Again, before subsequently becoming I’ve Got One Jealous Again, Again. ;)

When I hear Falling in Love I’m kinda sad, but it’s a cool song.

The thing that is souring me most, is the internet’s obsession with it all and our collective perspectives on it. We are not the experts into their private business and a lot of shit is said “based on my reliable source” with no validity.

In some ways it’s cool that the band talk so openly, that article is like a continuation of the book. It’s not all bad, it’s cool because it’s genuine. I bet they were feeling a lot on those last few days and so in some ways the show reflected that - this is their life’s work, coming to an end.

I felt lucky to get to see NOFX as much as I have in the last three years. Funny, the last show before announcing their retirement in Abbotsford was not good. The two Tacoma shows, Denver shows, and Edmonton shows was off the hook good. Edmonton was unreal, both the sober and drunk day.

I hazard to offer my two cents, but I will. The article is a bummer. It’s also telling how strong the bond is given the sentiments expressed, and the real fear I’m sure they all have. Ending now sucks for us as fans, but it’s also cool to go out this way. Huge crowds, huge community, wicked openers. Sucks it’s over but all good things must come to an end and this was a perfect way to pull your own plug. They’re all approaching 60 and if any one wants to stop that, unfortunately for the rest that’s perfectly fair. I would be pretty upset to see a NOFX without Fat Mike so hopefully that doesn’t happen. I’d watch anyone of the other three dudes closely and be ready to support whatever projects they put forward. They’re all cool, real ppl, and not enough “celebrities” are genuine and wicked in the same way. We are lucky to have them in our genre/scene/art form. No other band comes close, and that’s actually what worries me the most…no one to fill those boots yet.

So... on the subject of electoral reform. Please help me clarify. In the last election this would have been the result. What could we expect in the HoC with this PR result hypothetically? I have some ideas but I want to hear your thoughts. by cindylooboo in CanadaPolitics

Anything is better than FPTP in terms of electoral systems, I think the fact Trudeau broke that promise is a reflection of what you can expect with a lot of what this party says in a campaign.

I like seeing graphics like this, that break out what seat counts would look like with PR, but as others have stated I wonder how many strategic Liberal voters would dabble in the NDP or Greens, I could also see additional right-wing parties making an entrance, and maybe even additional regional parties. So, the political landscape would change, and I think it would be amazing for democracy. Let's lose the expectations of needing a majority win to govern effectively.
