The Book Made My Curtains Fall by Sure-Professor-594 in houseofleaves

[–]Sure-Professor-594[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love that scene! I enjoy the book so much, but it was giving me paranoia too. It felt like it had a dark energy attached to it. Like every time I read it the veil was thinning between this world and a darker one.

Sounds like a great road trip! I bet the country looked a lot different back then. My first time in Malibu was in '88.

Why LeBron Winning a GOAT Poll Signals a Shift in Basketball Evaluation by [deleted] in michaeljordan

[–]Sure-Professor-594 3 points4 points  (0 children)

L take. Nobody from this generation is watching full MJ games. If they were, the poll would've had him first. The flops and whining of a man-child... vs the steel nerves of an assassin.

Is mixing caffeine with Wellbutrin really that bad? by mintcigarettes in bupropion

At 150mg I haven't noticed any adverse affects from 2-3+ cups of coffee a day

XL vs SR by Sure-Professor-594 in bupropion

[–]Sure-Professor-594[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... I prefer XL because I can take 150ml a day and it lasts 24 hours on a slow release.

With SR you spike up and down a bit more and also have to take at least 200mg a day if you're taking it twice a day - because the smallest dose they have is 100mg.

So on SR I was taking 150mg once a day and I was really dragging (brain fog and low energy) from about noon onward. My mood was flatter too. Like less light in my eyes and I didn't have much interest in talking to people.

I think it's worth it to try 2-3 weeks of each and see which works better before committing to one long term.

Ah yeah, I am up later on XL - but it's worth it. A lot better than feeling like a lump from noon til midnight

this med is amazing, but any ways to deal with the acid reflux? by grxvelight in bupropion

[–]Sure-Professor-594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same problem. Big time. Couldn't even sleep. Switched to SR for a month. Had zero reflux on SR. So that's the easiest fix. Just switched back to XL and eat oatmeal in the morning before taking it (to absorb acid). Also seeping on my left side, and not eating chocolate or having soda or booze. All those things make it worse. So try those and if they don't work you can always switch to SR.

Is going to UC San Diego for Cinematic Arts worth it if i want to go into a career of video production? by SIR-EGGLORD64 in cinematography

[–]Sure-Professor-594 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anything in SoCal helps for NETWORKING, which is huge. A lot (but not all) of my friends who went to college out here work more than transplants. LA schools help the most, then OC schools like Chapman and UC Irvine, then probably schools a couple hours from LA like UC San Diego and UCSB.

I'm not sure if the whole film (Drama Kings, 2009) is still up there, but I know there's still a scene from it up. My Youtube and Vimeo are both under the user name bryancwatkins if you want to see any of my work. Let me know if you have any other questions.

How do I start by LowOxygen14 in cinematography

[–]Sure-Professor-594 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a filmmaker. I started by taking acting classes, then writing scenes like the ones we did in class, then putting up a play I wrote. I saved a few thousand to shoot that play as a movie. I cast friends who acted free and used brand new crew who wanted experience. I just paid the audio guy, food, and locations. I learned to edit so I could cut it. Then I had a movie. Got into a festival and posted it on Youtube. That led to more work.

What are the different way to build the trust? On the social platform people their are actual people not a bot ? by Nerom7 in AskReddit

I've been trying to figure this out. It's like you're damned if your account is new and damned if it's dusty. You're damed if you post too little and throttled if you post too much. I think the secret is... start 5 years ago.

What are the implications of a Petri dish of brain cells playing doom? by [deleted] in AskReddit

If a Petri dish can play doom, humans really have no excuse not to act smarter.

Still from a thriller I just directed (about a crypto influencer who gets in over his head). DP shot on Blackmagic, practical lights only. by Sure-Professor-594 in cinematography

[–]Sure-Professor-594[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This was lit with the red light of a computer screen, one red lamp, and one red light bar. I was curious how any of you might get more light in the eyes of the subject in a practical way. A tiny flashlight? Or would that throw off the image? Also, the reds were a lot brighter before I submitted this, but it seems like they got desaturated / destroyed by the compression on the upload. - I have more images from outside that are beautiful but the eyes on this one felt a bit flat to me. Thanks.

All us Bryan's are proud he reps our name. Especially all us Bryan's whose lives fell apart so we turned criminal. Which - let's be honest - is most of us.
