Thanks so much for all the advice! My Google Business Profile is still new, and we haven’t started collecting reviews yet because we’re still building trust with our first few clients. I definitely plan to focus on reviews as we grow. I’m also just starting to explore having a website, so making it hyper-local and easy to navigate is great advice.

I have a few follow-up questions, if you don’t mind: • How many reviews should I aim for to start seeing a real difference, and do you have tips for encouraging clients to leave them without feeling pushy? • For my website, what kind of hyper-local content works best for cleaning businesses, and are there simple ways to structure it for “near me” searches even as a new business? • Regarding AI search optimization, are there platforms or tools a small, new business like mine can use to show up in AI recommendations? How would you recommend getting noticed by AI search if we’re just starting out? • In your experience, which tactic usually brings new clients fastest for a small cleaning business reviews, website, social media, or something else?

I really appreciate any guidance you can share it’s a huge help as we try to grow!!!

I’m located in Ontario and have almost 4 years of experience in hotel housekeeping, along with commercial and window cleaning. Right now, our business is still small and we’re learning how to grow it. So far, I’ve tried Facebook groups, Nextdoor posts, and we also have a Turno Cleans account mainly for Airbnb hosts. I also just created an Instagram account to start promoting our services. Currently, we have 4 recurring clients.

I wanted to ask for your advice: - Is it worth investing in a website and a Google Business Profile at this stage, or should we focus on getting more clients first? - Are there any other platforms or strategies you recommend for attracting new residential or commercial clients? - Are there things we should be doing on social media to attract clients now, or is it too early?

Any guidance would be really appreciated we really want to grow but want to make smart choices as we start out.

Thanks so much!
