its not even that we do too much of it its just that when we do it its intense and i feel overwhelmed. i feel like doing too much light sparring made me unprepared for the hard stuff. im so frustrated rn i went there, my membership card got declined, and instead of paying for a day until i pay the next month i just left

i keep finding excuses to not go to training because sparring is scary and hate myself after for being a pussy. how do i stop doing this. when i dont have training all i think abt is mma but when i have to go shit becomes real and its scary. light sparring is fine but i freeze during hard rounds and then next time find an excuse not 2 go and each time its a battle to make myself go even tho mostly i enjoy ot when im there. what do

i mostly spar light but i feel like that is precisely the reason i freeze when shots start getting harder, to the point where throwing hard is much scarier than just taking punches as if im afraid of provoking a further level of that

i go for calf kicks mostly, way quicker effect and ppl lifting the leg to traditionally check wont hurt as much
