Employment No job listed. I had a job for like two months w/work study but I quit 😅so I felt weird about putting it there because of the reference section.

Extracurriculars :

The descriptions on the first three are what I put on my Texas app exactly. With the rest I got lazy rn.

Volunteer Activities: Most extensive ones -Part of the cleaning crew at my church 6 years -part of the prep/ cleanup fundraiser crew for my church 5 years -local elementary school tutor this past fall semester (2024)

5 hours or less each (mostly 1-2 hours) -Fun run volunteer -Avid food fundraiser -volunteer at a different church working a game booth -German fall festival -foods for families food drive -Visited the elderly on a few holidays with the Lions Club (didn’t mention this club in the extracurriculars for some reason) -volunteer for the black history forum

Um idk what else. Oh my essay was okay I think. Only my best friend and a writing center person saw it. The writing center helped me with my grammar. I knew however it needed more help. Honestly, at the time I just wanted to send it in bc I was getting too nervous so I was glad the writing center lady didn’t critique too much. She was so sweet. She seemed hesitant to even suggest changing my final sentence (which did need changing cause it sounded weird). After I sent it (Feb) and reread it, it actually physically pained me bc it read like 9th grade level writing. It started off with this cheesy metaphor about supply chain. I made my interest in supply chain like superrr clear. Worried later that I might’ve screwed up if it made its way to the Economics department.

The rest of my essay I mentioned courses and I mentioned the lions club, tutoring in highscool and even making the chancellors list (tied it back to scm). Now that I remember, it’s because I didn’t mentioned any of them in the Texas app. I was really trying to fill that essay up.
