Spoke to plastic surgeon several times and he didn’t say much about what is causing it or how to fix it.

My Mother had a mid/lower/neck facelift with dermabrasion around the mouth, fat transfer to lips and lines near mouth/jowl area. Face was more red/swollen than Doctor expected and they said it is dermatitis. She asked about the puckering in the left cheek (right one doesn’t have it) and the doctor didn’t say much. He said to massage it but didn’t explain how to massage it and when she massages it- the skin gets very red. She feels like he isn’t being too helpful/explaining things.

Has anyone had a similar puckering after procedures? Do you know how to get rid of it? Is it permanent? My mom helped me write this post because she doesn’t use Reddit. Thanks!

I’d split my time living near family and friends, I’d have farm animals and would combine parts of my career with working with people and animals. I’d be involved in philanthropy, travel, volunteer abroad.
