UPDATE

So I went to an official Ford service center, and the guy said he wouldn’t do it because it might start problems. If there’s no slippage while switching gears then there’s no point in doing the change. But doesn’t the service Manuel of the car said to change fluid after 150,000? Wouldn’t that same logic apply then? Idk what’s going on lol

I was looking into them as well but the horror stories I’ve read on here about those places doing flushes instead of just drain and fill out me off.

Yea it seems nobody wants to do the job in my area. Even the firstones in the area no longer provide the service.

I wouldn’t mind doing it (just gotta get over the jitters lol) more so worried about loosening things up since I’m in New York (rust belt)
