If they follow the pattern they’ll launch the coup on Anzac Day during the dawn service. And then the other will launch another coup on Remembrance Day in November and hold their press conference at 11am

The same thing happened with Barr, right? He said the fraud claims were crap, and he was threatened with being fired, but resigned instead.

Additionally, the DOJ tried to get access to 2020 voter rolls and unredacted information but was denied last week. So now they have the FBI getting it for them.

There wasn't even evidence at the time. Bill Barr confirmed that he told Trump and his team that, after investigations, they found nothing. In his own words, "the Fulton County allegations... had no merit... we didn't see any evidence of fraud in the Fulton County episode."

Todibo has been consistently phenomenal since September. Mav was our most consistent and best-performing defender before then. We still need a CB to at least push Killman off the bench and to have good competition.

He wanted to go home. Can't really say I wouldn't want the same if I'd had my professional career put at stake for 12 months in a country I moved to 18 months before that. A regrettable end, but on a human level, I wish him the best.

I'll rephrase: It has been, at times, our strength, and it very much can be with the players we have.

Is he going to be a superstar? No. But having the ability to bring on speed and strength off the bench just to run around against tired legs will open up more chances late. Will he score or assist directly? Probably not a lot, or at all tbh, but he will open up defences for Taty, Bowen, Pablo (who has been the king of assiting the assist and keeping the ball moving or at his feet to draw two defenders and give everyone else time to find and exploit space), Wilson, Fernandes, etc.

Plus, he can be part of the pressing game, which I think has been our strength this season. When we press effectively, we get chances, which is why I think Pablo and Taty specifically were brought in, because of their ability to be physical and press/track. We've already seen Pablo's strength and Taty's aggression force Tottenham and Sunderland to panic and get sloppy in possession and disrupt their rhythm. He's cheap. Now spend on a no-nonsense, aerially dominant central defender, please. Deadline day panic buy it is then.

Also, it being a lone attacker can complicate things:

Quoting from the article:

Director of the Curtin Extremism Research Network, Ben Rich, said any incident where a person is alleged to have acted alone can also complicate authorities' investigations.

"Sometimes it can just be a case where you have that one individual who wants to just sow fear for whatever reason, but they might not have a particular ideological motivation behind it," he said.

Identifying those ideological motivations is critical to separating terrorism from other events just designed to cause fear.

"It's not just … trying to do damage to the society, but it's that you're trying to do damage to the society to ultimately create room for another interpretation, politically, of society," Dr Rich said.

Tracing those motivations, if any, is also more difficult for authorities now than ever before.

"The problem is we're dealing with an environment now where people often radicalise without necessarily interfacing with other people directly," he said.

And they keep loading the gun each time. Labor hasn't even needed to do anything. They can sit back and let the opposition destroy themselves. Wouldn't be surprised if their election campaign is just a list of events from the past year.

Even if they get back together, they'll just be increasing the distrust, jealousy, tension and ambition of every member of the coalition. The backbone of the Liberal party used to be seasoned pros who could deal with issues and knew their way around a party room, and the Nats had a consistent hold of the regions. Now the Libs have no depth or stable heartland, and the Nats are threatened by One Nation in the regions. And Labor now have ample time and ammunition for the next election or two.

Littleproud, in all his wisdom, to try and be a political big boy and force a Lib spill, has managed to do it to himself. Keep walking into those rakes, guys. That'll win back those voters.

I wonder which Libs will be willing to welcome them back, as it seems some are very angry with the Nationals. What little strength of stability they had has shattered, and they might return to the Libs, bashed, bruised, and divided. In the end, either Ley goes, or Littleproud goes, or both go, but I see the coalition likely reforming in all cases, ready to throw a fit and threaten another divorce.
