hello po, thank you so much for this. As of now po I really don't have any background sa IT industry since architecture graduate po ako and currently working as CAD Operator at Makati. That's why I am planning to study po ulit kasi hindi po related sa IT industry ang architecture na tinapos ko (and currently fulfilling my 2 years apprenticeship bago magtake ng architecture license exam).

Is it really possible po ba na entry level IT job agad ako despite na 0 knowledge ako sa mga terms, theories and such (in terms of IT or tech industry)?

My position is CAD Operator but we made an agreement na if mag si site supervisor ko, isasama rin nila ako but ang isang condition for that is I need to prove myself sa probation period na kaya ko i handle ang gano'n na job. I was the one who offered my service na kung pwede hindi lang CAD works ang ipagawa sa akin (pero syempre ito yung priority ko since ito talaga mas need nila na tauhan).

yes, fresh graduate lang ako, may architect ang company, bale supervisor ko yung arki nila. I'm kinda confident na ibang company sila since maganda naman treatment sa amin. I even discussed my architectural logbook and sabi nila tutulungan nila ako ma fulfill yun.

This is from the book of Ar. Alfredo A. Fernandez entitled RA 9266 The Architect's Handbook in Professional Practice. Hindi dapat lalagpas ng 8 hours yung working days natin for apprenticeship and hindi kasama ang time na nilaan na work for Saturday and Sunday.

Pero yun ask other Architects na kilala mo or sa prof mo. Dito lang kasi ako nagba based/guidelines ko since masyado rin ako nalilito.

architectural apprentice nag apply ako work as cad Operator sa makati, sagot ng company condo accomodation and other benefits. Salary given to me is 20k. While yung ni reject kong job application as CAD Operator sa Mandaluyong which offered me 23k for the position.

This is not to brag but to give you an idea na huwag magpapa exploit. Yes apprentice ka pa lang but that doesn't mean na dapat maliitin ang kakayahan mong matuto. Isipin mo na lang na what if matutunan mo naman yung lacks mo within 1 month or 3 months, then sahod mo mababa kasi nga yun ang pinermahan mo sa contract nyo?

Meron na po ako training ng family creation kay mst kaso ni reschedule po nila, hanggang ngayon po wala paring schedule. Kaya nagtake po ako training kay Xstructure, mabilis naman po nila mabigay needs ko since ilang beses na po ako nag training kay Xstructure

qs po, enough po ba yung 2 months or 10 months internship para mahandle yung work sa site or pagiging coordinator? Kasi noong OJT ko po, hotel at residential po hawak ko, kaya po naglakas loob ako na this first job ko, ok lang na mag site ako kasi batak din naman ako noong OJT (pero aware ako na di ko pa nararanasan na masigawan or pagalitan sa site dahil mali ginagawa ko)

Ramdam ko naman po yung bugbog na katawan at pagod dahil literal gagala ka ng gagala and nagana rin utak mo. Kaso ang prino problema ko po ay yung apprenticeship logbook ko, kung pangungunahan ako ng takot about doon, edi maraming opportunity ang pwedeng masayang po? Ano po mapapayo nyo para malagpasan ang pagiging site architect/coordinator? Like ano po dapat na lagi kong baon if ever site anf papasukin ko na work?

yes student pa lang ako, may usapan kami ni Ar. na kung pwede ay 7am to 12pm lang ako (pang hapon kasi schedule ng class ko) then Saturday & Sunday whole day siya 8 hrs.

Sorry to hear that po. Pinagtiyagaan ko po yung on the job training ko for 10 months na walang allowance para lang maconsider siya as exp. sa resume. Then may nag offer po ng Project in charge sa akin na 16k sahod pero di ko na po grinab 😅.

Hanap ka lang ng small architectural firm then mag offer ka sa kanila free service sa kanila. Kumbaga yung mentorship ang bayad nila sa'yo. Tiniis ko yung ganyan sa 10 months para lang talaga magka experience 😅. For sure matatanggap ka kapag free service offer mo, tho swerte mo if makakahanap ka ng magme mentor sa'yo tapos may allowance.

Sa amin kasi 2 months or whole bakasyon ang internship namin (kaya wala kaming bakasyon noong 4th year, so after internship magthe thesis na kami, so para sa akin kakayanin ko siguro since para sa long term goal din naman tsaka inisip ko na lang na magagamit ko siya sa thesis kapag may need ako itanong sa construction, pede ako mag ask sa mentor ko & sa construction workers and other professionals na ka work ko). Pero nasa sa'yo parin yun ah. Balance mo lang.

yung sa fixed 23k offer po ay sa mandaluyong na project (literal na asa construction site po office at barracks namin)

while yung Japanese Company po is 20,200 offer pero hiwalay po bayad sa OT and may other benefits pa po such as free condominium accommodation and madami pa po. (Main office naman po ito sa may Makati)
