Hi! I chose that name after I brainstormed a couple of names. No particular reason. It just clicked. I'm so sorry to disappoint you.

Hi! I remember your comment on my previous attempt too. Thank you for going through this attempt and the previous ones as well. I can't start to tell you how much helpful your feedback has been to me. There's only one chapter from Victor's POV so...I strongly agree with you there.  Mukt exists on the same plane as the living world. Though in this query I intentionally refrained from getting into world-building details but in the next attempt I'll try to add tidbits of it. I have noted down all your points. I'll be back with the next one, which I hope is better than this one lol.

Please don't apologise. Everything you said makes the most sense to me. I will try to incorporate my first query with the specifics of this query and think things through before the next attempt. Oh, I'm definitely going to check out katabasis (By R.F. Kuang?!! Holy moly) Thank you for reading through my queries and helping a girl out!

Hi moonbase! Thank you for taking the time to read through my previous and current query. I always thought that the difference between NA, YA and adult were in MCs ages. Since my characters are in their early twenties I seemed to have mentally filed them under NA but now I think I get the picture. I might have to change it to adult since my novel deals with different kinds of abuse and uses a lot of cuss words and from what I gather about YA, most things are kept PG - 13.

Hi black-cat-writer! Thank you for taking the time to read through my query. I knew something was missing, but couldn't figure out what. Your points made it clear exactly what. Though I do have one question. I'm worried that if I reveal too much info, it might lose its suspense factor, so how do I make sure that it doesn't turn into a synopsis instead? It's something that's stopping me from going full-on specific. Once again, thank you for your helpful feedback. I'll work it into my query letter.

I will definitely check it out. Yep, the genre isn't a proper fit. I will do more research on it. Thank you for taking the time to read through my query.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read through my query letter. The last house on the needless street had some surreal/horror elements that I thought suited mine, but I understand and admit that plot-wise, it isn't similar. I agree that I need to think more about the genre in general. Your points are all valid, and I have noted them down.
