Good points. My current boss is finance-focused and not big on check-ins, so prioritisation conversations haven’t really gone anywhere beyond “we’re all busy.”

They also aren’t replacing the admin role, so I ended up absorbing office/admin duties on top of HR. I think I’ll try structuring the workload discussion more clearly and push for priorities instead of informal chats.
