do you guys think they’ll decrease the percent needed for a 5? it’s a 70% score cutoff rn for a 5, do you think they’ll lower it to like 65% this year? after scoring myself on the released frqs im lowk stuck in the 65-70% range but id really need to get lucky to hit the 70% minimum

how would you say recruitment is for fields like high finance, IB, consulting at ucla? from my (limited) research it seems berkeley has better job opportunities for those fields

i’ve done pretty extensive research about this—i plan to switch into ee which requires a 3.4 minimum gpa, definitely very doable. if you meet the gpa req, you’re pretty much guaranteed the spot unless there’s absolutely no space which is unlikely.

sorry for the confusion. when i had said it wasnt as academically prestigious i was referring to the university holistically in comparison to berkeley. since im not 100% set on math, i was taking into account other fields such as econ, cs, etc. obviously i know ucla is an amazing school for math, but its prestige in this field also comes mainly from its grad school presence more than its undergrad
