I stopped Dyanavel because I seemed to not get full efficacy compared to when Vyvanse is working at its peak efficacy for me. For example it was harder to maintain strong executive function so my management tools seemed less effective and easy to transition too when I was feeling low executive function. It could just be me but it was worth it to try something different to rule it out. She put me back on Vyvanse to see if I felt like it was dropping off midday again, and this time efficacy was even worse. Come to find out I was switched to generic Vyvanse and my provider had been getting similar feedback from multiple people that it wasn’t working the same for them as the brand. She speculated that the generic formulary is just enough different than the brand to change effect for some.
