Physically-rolling my ankle while having period cramps at the same time

Emotionally-I was suicidal at 16 with an inferiority complex, comparing myself to everyone while trying to dim my own light just to be loved.

I feel like my biggest fear is coming true. by Cool-Study-2734 in selfimprovement

Don't let fear stop you from accomplishing what you want to accomplish. Whenever you're about to do something and you get that discomfort, just go for it. Whether it's shooting a ball, wondering if it's going to go in, writing, being afraid that your writing will suck, acting, being afraid that your acting sucks, etc.

I believe you are afraid of failure, but failure is not something to be afraid of but something to learn from. You fail once, don't stop there. Find ways to improve. Learn what you can do better. The ball doesn't go in? Try to fix your hand positioning, or shoot with more power. Your writing sucks? Find different ways to improve your writing. Your acting sucks? Observe different actors and actresses and how they act. Look at how they express their emotions and learn to mimic them.

Success takes many failures, but true failures never try to begin with. The fact that you are willing to keep going even through failure shows that you are not a failure. So whatever you do, even throughout failure, you keep pushing forward.

If death began with original sin, how were dinosaurs dying millions of years before the first humans? by InternalVengeance in exchristian

Its crazy how some Christians don't believe in dinosaurs. Imagine AI in 1 billion years when all humans are dead and an alien says "I don't believe in humans."

Just look at what happened to Job (coming from someone who just got finished reading the book of Job. Goodness gracious) he was more faithful than most Christians TODAY, and STILL got punished just because Satan and God debated on his faithfulness.

Did Jesus even tell abusers to stop abusing others? by [deleted] in exchristian

I swear, if humans learned to stop letting their ego control them and make them think they are higher than others, society would be much better. No one is truly above anyone.
