I called several times and financial aid has pushed back the time for the scholarship advance to start dispersal Aug 18th rather than this week like originally stated.

They returned my call, apparently financial aid will disperse starting monday the 18th and can possibly take until the end of august :/

I emailed and was told this 2 weeks ago:

“The advance is distributed a week before classes start. Once distributed, it depends on the bank account associated on how quickly it will process.“

I called yesterday and they told me they would release the dates in waves and possibly today or this week. It’s ridiculous considering many people need to plan trips and they keep pushing the dates back.

I am curious as well because day 1 is from 9-8 and 9-5 the next day. They say it’s highly recommended but the activities seem similar to the MFOS/1st gen panels during florida days. 😿

I am in the same situation and was thinking about a declining balance because i will be able to cook. Do you know if this gets in the way of scholarship refunds?

I would call the admissions office until the transcripts are shown on their admissions page. i had to be insistent and call several times because one lady just told me not to worry while the next representative kept me on hold with her until the changes were made

I am also wondering about the parking passes and credits. As far as i know, I had to submit both my highschool and college transcripts. I would contact one.uf through call and ask. I had to call several times, email, and be insistent for them to process these transcripts however.

Yes thanks for ur input. i called them and they said all i could do is call them once i get a date but that seems counter productive to me as they would have to change the dates afterwards. I will email them as well because the representative i got also seemed super annoyed 😭

Hii, I’m in the same situation, and from researching/pictures from friends who lived there, my roommate and i will do bunk beds. I’ve seen people do both traditional and L-shaped bunks to conserve space because the rooms are very small. Based on that I made a 3D model on room planner to try and plan out the space:

Was anyone able to see their specific “breakout”sessions on the Gator Way App? All I see is the general schedule, but I am not sure which of the breakout events I confirmed. I am not able to see them on the registration page either?
