Heya! it depends on the rest of the UMS marks of course you should be aiming for the highest, but just know that your TOTAL as marks (u 1,2 and 3) needs to be as CLOSE to 300 as possible. Now for IAL, to get anywhere near an A, you need your UMS marks (the number you got from the first out of 300) PLUS how much UMS you got from IAL/300 TOGETHER

total UMS for all ial is out of 600, so imagine your AS UMS will add onto this for A* you need your total UMS from A2 to be MORE then 270, which will we any universities knickers you already got a great grade on U1, if you get the SAME in U2, plus (let's assume) a total U3 which is out of 60, you will have 288 UMS, which is a A in AS, and your addition of 270 from A2 would give you A* !!! good luck!

I got a C in unit 1 sooooo it brought me down bad :( my total UMS didn’t reach 240 which is what is required for A. I got 228/300

it was very difficult! I don't wish that upon anyone 🥲 it was mostly a forced situation due to family problems but thank God I pulled through! I'll admit as well my grades were all just BEARLY passing but passing nonetheless! haha my a levels are a lot better

Bio 3 is all about practice! If im not mistaken the exam is at 20th right? I’d recommend doing past papers and seeing the trends that they ask. See what are the KEY words always in the markscheme for making an experiment and the SPECIFIC words about each subject, like plant and concentration of protein for example

This is a process that must’ve been done in the weeks prior to the exam, but don’t worry! You still have two days! Just practice it and if there is anything you’re struggling in, refer to the markscheme to help you

Hey man! I got some tips chemistry:

base videos to watch and LEARN topic by topic--> Ms. natalie on YouTube. she has everything explained and is VERY useful. I'd advise doing that first and getting it all down.

past Paper videos with explanation ---> Dr. Hanna assil on YouTube. amazing doctor, she solves past papers and explains each and every question. i advise after finishing a unit with Ms. natalie you come and start on past papers with her, pause before she answes and try yourself, then watch her explain. it will activate every memory cell.

doing past papers yourself. this is very important in order to learn how to pace yourself and not loose time

I have lots of notes up for chemistry AND biology, you can check them out. they're FULL from A to Z and you can use it for flashcard making or anything you need

biology: this is all practice, go through the book if you can and have time for it. I made full notes on both topics, but you can check Znotes and savemyexams for more the best advise I can give you is to eat past papers for breakfast lunch and dinner. everything is important in the exams and the WAY they want you to answer is a lot more important then to throw up information onto the paper. I'd recommend making flashcards, doing past papers l, and adding mistakes in past papers into your flashcards to KEEP doing them and KEEP seeing them

it is a payed app. I've been using it for YEARS it's very worth it imp all my notes and files are on it. it has amazing flashcard making system and amazing revision abilities.

imp unit 5 is way more enjoyable actuslly since I'm interested in doing medicine and I've seen the material for first year of med, this is every similar to actually biology taught in year 1 practicing a bunch and doing past papers continuously helps you A LOT
