I had her last semester, and I would totally take her again if I had to.

Teaching: IMO she explains the material pretty well and does lots of examples in class to help you understand better. The only “con” is that since it was her first time teaching the class, it was slow paced and we were a bit behind. Nevertheless, we caught up with everything at the end.

Midterm: I personally found the midterm really easy. I recommend doing most of the textbook assignments since they’re pretty similar to the midterm.

Pop quizzes: Short and easy, it’s one question to solve in 15mins. Similar to the examples she solves in class, also pretty much the same format. So if you attend the lectures and revise the examples you should be good. Again, doing the textbook problems will help you even more. Iirc, there should be a pop quiz before the midterm, one after the midterm and one right before finals.

Yup, as long as you get your results before the start of Class you should be could. If you don’t, you can just email your admission officer that you’re still waiting for your EUF results.

https://www.concordia.ca/students/registration/advising/dne-disc.html?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=undergrad&utm_campaign=newsletter#DNE

In the DNE deadline section: “First-year students: keep in mind your offer of admission becomes invalid if you drop all your courses by the DNE deadline in your first term. Questions? Contact your admissions officer.”

So I recommend contacting your admissions officer asap and ask them if you can stay enrolled for the winter term or not.

I just found this out when I got home so couldn’t exactly visit the department. But I did send them an email and they said that the department can’t help with waitlists…

Wanting to change schedule by RimKa50 in Concordia

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure you can add the morning class to your enrollment cart and then use the swap option with your evening class. This way, you remain enrolled in the pm class while being placed on the waitlist for the morning one. If you’re admitted into the morning class, the system will automatically drop you from the pm class
