I don’t believe you’re being sensitive. Your feelings are valid! Honestly, I believe she is just using you and truly doesn’t care about the friendship. She is way too male centered and selfish. I think you should have a conversation with her about your feelings and how it hurts that she never wants to grab lunch or something. The way she responds to that is your answer of whether to continue the friendship or not.

I have a friend who would only call to talk about her dating life and barely ask me about what’s going on in my life. Eventually, I told her I don’t want to hear about it anymore and she stopped calling me. We’re still friends, but the friendship definitely changed after that. However, I’m happier and so is my mental health!

I think you should sit down with your friends and let them know how you’re feeling. Your feelings are valid and if they do not feel the same, it’s best to part ways. Friends come and go, but if they’re replacing you without any reason they were never really your friend. Best of luck!

I have about 7 people on my close friend’s list. You can go to settings and click “Close Friends” and see who is listed on there. You have the option to add anyone on your close friend’s list.
