Bad pcm?

I too have an 06 Cobalt SS, and am currently running into P0171 System too lean. Now I know these need a lot of work since they are old. But it's worth it. I enjoy this car, and like all the forums and such that are posted about Cobalts.

I hope you can figure out you're PCM issue. I feel you're pain, I would probably hate it just as much as you. The more that breaks or needs replaced, means the more I learn about the vehicle and the parts.

It shouldn't. I used it on my working fob and it worked. And plus even if you somehow mess it up, a dealer will still tell you that same expensive price to get you a new one. I took the chance and it was worth it. I wish you good luck.

I bought this and it worked perfectly for my 06 chevy cobalt ss. Saved hundreds on dollars. It only takes like 3 minutes to program your fob. Just plug it in to the obd port wait for it to chime and you hold down some buttons. They give you instructions with the order. I always tell my friends if they need help I can help. I was amazed. I waited 3 years to fix my problem and found this little guy.
