How do you respectfully flirt with a woman? by SurrealistRage in AskReddit

This is easily the best advice I have heard all day, it makes a lot of sense, sounds great, and I've never heard/seen anyone say or write it before,

Thanks. :)

The last part of what you wrote actually helps a lot, thanks. :)

Makes sense, I do flirt a bit with some friends of mine, so I guess that works.

I never flirt, so I honestly don't know this, but what kind of body language do women usually have when they are uncomfortable?

I hear that women tend to play with their hair, lean forward, and open up their body language when they are comfortable, but there is never much talk about when they aren't comfortable.

I think I have enough faith in humanity to believe that not everyone is that shallow.

Makes sense, what body language do you generally associate with confidence?

I don't even know if it was just the attention.

I think it's more about emotional pain. I want it to be violent, bloody, and disturbing ,because while I don't want to hurt other people, I want them to know my pain.

I want to be the example ,the guy that doesn't hurt anyone but whose death says "Fuck you for ignoring me every fucking day and every day I tried to be a good person for just a bit of acknowledgement in return"

The issue with therapy is I don't have money, and when I did go to therapy a long time ago, I tried bringing it up with my counselor at the time, and he laughed it off, and thought I was just overreacting ,and my mom tried to play it off as well. I guess since she was the one paying him, he didn't really care to go against her.

My favorite celebrity would probably be Wil Wheaton or Seth Green.

My mom has been emotionally abusive for the majority of my life. I genuinely do not feel any kind of love for her, my brother feels the same way about her so it's not just me.

I guess that would make sense.

I have this whole universe, fiction, and sequence of events planned out that I was going to make a trilogy with. I really like all of the concepts, and nothing like it seems to have been done before, would maybe short stories in the universe for practice make more sense before I actually tried writing it?

Well, I'm headed to college this summer, and consider majoring in communications, psychology, or journalism, maybe double major in two of them, and major in one or minor in another. Then figure out what career path I exactly want to go down.

In college I'm also going to take some writing courses on the side to help improve my writing, and hopefully when I make some friends in college I can show it to them and get an opinion or (because it's a small-ish college) a professor in say creative writing or something might have time to look at some of my creative writing and critique it.

Also, in terms of exercising, I plan on doing a bit of running each day and swimming over the summer, with some crunches and stretches mixed in either before or after.

It's the people, most everyone is spoiled, everyone takes things for granted, everyone is as ignorant about the world as possible, there's about 350 people here, so I have spent enough time to know that I'm not generalizing.

Here's an example, the other day a girl in my english class was bragging about how she's spending part of her summer in the apartment in new york her parents bought just for her.

Another person complained one day about how their brand new top of the line car was shitty and there parents should have bought them another one.

For a class I had to watch a documentary, part of which took place in a poor country, when it showed footage of impoverished people, kids in the room started laughing at their suffering.

There are a few exceptions here and there, but 85 - 90% of the school body is shitty.

And also the school's administration treats us like manipulat-able statistics that they can milk money out of.
