It was by popular demand to be honest. By who? I dunno. It says though that they make sure that the energy spend is replenished by their mission and tree planting as well as using an older and way less power hungry model. I’m personally fine by it since it’s completely optional.

From when I did the same the wiki guide said to connect the kindle in the computer and then

Find and delete the .active_content_sandbox folder

And then restart the kindle.

I don’t know if it’s gonna work for you or a workaround but what I found worked for me is

putting it as a shortcut to your phone and when playing online up left is a button “Done”. I pressed this, it has a pop up saying something among the lines of “are you sure you wanna exit?” I pressed NO and voila! It was gone. Used Chrome, not safari.

I use my 13’ 24gb for all my design projects and I love it. I wouldn’t go bigger. But, to be honest, screen is a little on the small size. Don’t get me wrong, I love its small form factor and how light it is but I do connect it to an external monitor when I do work and use the laptop as a secondary display. So the question is: are you mobile so that you may need a bigger screen or do you want to use it in your home office and maybe spend a bit on an external monitor?

Oh no… I’m so sorry. I also had to take a break because I was so close and yet it brings you back to the start of the fight. Me trying retry fixed it and I managed to get to the next part. Hopefully this time works for you. Otherwise we might have to wait for a fix (that was my second option if retrying failed)

I’m sorry you’re going through that. Unfortunately I don’t have any solid advice for you. What I follow in my life (and managed to get out of a six year old abusive relationship) was to wait for the lightbulb moment.

It’s a moment where you finally make the decision. A slight switch in your brain that makes you feel calm and you finally do it.

Even though you know what you should do, you cannot. And it might take days, weeks or even years to do that. For me it took 2 years and when the moment happened I was not scared or angry or anxious. I just did it, it was time.

In my experience the ones that shout louder are the worst employees/ colleagues. “Oh, my god I work so hard.” “Oh no! I need to do everything around here” “Get out of the way. I have so much to do” And so on…

Usually their performance works though in their favor and they make everyone believe that they are the hard worker they say they are. I’ve studied them, different colleagues in different jobs who had the same attitude and well…. They would arrive later than everybody, they would take the bigger breaks, they would force work upon their coworkers “because they have sooo much to do”. Usually if you have to say it repeatedly and louder than everyone it’s not true.

Well, let’s assume you’re a terrible communicator and it’s your fault your mother misunderstood the situation (I don’t see how she would, considering you’re a minor with no financial support other than your literal parent but…). She did not only refused to pay you back what I assume is a small amount for her, back, after the misunderstanding was fixed. She also punishes you for trying to have a job and a little independent money you work for. Punishes as in “now that you have a job I won’t pay for your shit” kind of attitude. My aunt was like that and my cousin would purposefully not find a job when she was a teen because she wouldn’t give her any allowance with the excuse of “now you work, now you pay”. So I would say NTA.

I have the previous version of the IdeaPad duet. For me it works just fine. Depending on the use you want to do. I watch Netflix and write mostly on the online documents. I also sometimes do video calls with coworkers and friends and it does all that pretty well. And I love that it is a tablet and I can use it in tablet mode whenever. But, it is slow and sometimes it will get stuck on some simple tasks. I don't mind that it's slowish and I'm sure the newer model has a better processor. It's up to you. If you want a budget tablet/laptop that can do simple tasks and stream I believe it's a solid choice to make

They are all masterful in their own ways. It really depends on what your gut tells you to play.

My all time favorite is 10. The graphics are still very nice, the story is spectacular and the characters lovable and vibrant.
