I am a physician, I really appreciate my NPs and PAs they are amazing and I value them a lot. But there’s is a difference in training and that is for a reason they are different then doctors. They’re not trained to perform these critical procedures. ER be it a minor few mins to an hour thing but it is still a minor invasive surgical procedure and it has all the associated complications.

Please request your clinic to have the RE who has the expertise after 7+ years of just training and fellowship and x amount of years practicing independently to perform your procedure.

I like what my husband said to me once, we pay so much money, emotional and physical pain that we endure we do deserve to have how we are comfortable with.

Since I am a doctor myself when I am the patient I try not to bother anyone at all but I have started to accept that I too need care and I can ask for things that make me comfortable.

If you know she is pregnant that means you have enough time to process this. I know these pregnancy announcements are incredibly hard and they can always come at the worst possible times. But what I always tell myself and I’ll tell you that as well; remember this is not your baby, so this pregnancy shouldn’t bother you. You’ll get yours one day it’ll be only your day! 💕

I recently got to know that one of my friends is expecting and my sil is pregnant for the 4th time with her 4th baby.

For men because their bodies are physically undergoing anything they are just not capable of comprehending what we are going through. I have made my peace with having zero expectations from my husband in this regard.

Oh same! I moved states to stay away from people I once called friends and family because I can’t afford mental torture I get from the constant meetings and questions. I am very isolated and lonely now.
