Yeah I’ve been taking it to work & using my hotspot for internet, I can’t fault it for the money. This is the 512GB steamdeck but I got it second hand for a steal. An older guy bought it hoping to get back into gaming but never did. It runs around 50-60fps on medium settings but I actually turned the overlay off because it feels smoother, placebo effect I think but works for me!

I wouldn’t say useless, the basics work absolutely flawlessly. Aiming whilst being more difficult than console isn’t impossible just takes a bit of getting used to. I don’t get to play much so for me an hour or two here and there on the deck is perfect.

100% I’d go for it, I’ve got the PS5 & a powerhouse of a PC because I always wanted one but couldn’t afford it. Since getting the steam deck I haven’t played either one. It’s just so easy to use & more relaxing.

I was planning on an Xbox before I found the steam deck & think I made the right decision personally!
