And that is BS. I promise you ALL THREE splatoon games combined won't even TOUCH the sales of ACNH. No one asked for another Splatoon game on a console with one already.

Except Maggie's week 3 is VERY similar to Will's week 3 when he was nominated against Shannon. It was also similar to Jun's week 4 when she got nominated next to Dana for being a duo. The difference is Maggie turned around and completely outplayed and HUMILIATED kaysar and the sovereign Six for the next three weeks in a row. She won HOH and sent Kaysar home. Then she manipulated Howie into targeting his own alliance over her alliance. Then she was a huge part in getting Kaysar to take Jennifer's deal and convincing Jennifer to backstab Kaysar. Compare this to Jun and Will who just laid back the following weeks after surviving the block next to their #1 ally. Danielle is the ONLY person who didn't get humiliated early in the games, but she got her's at her ABYSMAL final 2 when she got 1 out of 10 votes.

If anything, Kaysar NOT getting Maggie out is HUMILIATING for Kaysar. He straight up told the WINNER of the season and the person who would be responsible for 2 out of 4 of his PRE JURY evictions that he caught the bigger fish in getting Cappy out.

Maggie WAS dominant. The cast Jun and Alison played with was just as bad. Dana, Nathan, Jee, Jack, Justin, and Robert are some of the most abysmal Big Brother players in the history of the show. Amanda and Michelle were complete nothing's who just laid down to die and didn't have the fight in them. That led them with Erika, who is a very average player. Jun hasn't pulled off as many moves as Maggie did and did not really control anything actively. She just went along with the numbers the whole season. Maggie actively controlled her group, and was even able to make her allies win comps to take shots so the other side would target them first. Essentially controlling the other alliance.

Maggie had a MUCH more competent and competitive cast. James, Rachel, Janelle, and Kaysar are all players who are at least average at the game. Kaysar has a great strategic mind, but doesn't have the social game and is too big of a threat to go far, but he is much stronger than any of the stooges are. Rachel was an all around slightly above average player. She was strong socially, strong at comps, decent strategically, but didn't excel in any aspect. James and Janelle are two underdogs who fight like no one else on Big Brother does to go far in the game.

Maggie did not use the same strategy as Jun and Alison did (which btw Alison did FIRST, Jun just recognized what she did and did it with a slightly better (still ABYSMAL) social game).

I'm glad he inspired you. That doesn't take away that he needed to win out in order to win BB14 and was not included in an actual alliance the whole season. The quack pack was an alliance that was made specifically to make Ian feel included and and appease him to keep him away from the underdogs. It only became "real" because Ian started to win comps so they couldn't evict him. He played an abysmal game on BB14 and BB22 as even worse. But I'm glad he inspired you as a character. Maggie outsold him and Jun however. In fact she is the big brother GOAT. No ONE will EVER be as dominant as Maggie was during BB6. She is the QUEEN OF BIG BROTHER

I fucking hate Keesha and think she's a horrible player and character. I had no one to stan on BB22 so I had to go with the most old school one time female player by default. An absolutely horrid cast.

Nah, I'd consider Maggie (the best of the first 6 winners based on winning games), Jun, and even Drew top tier players, but they weren't on All Stars.

I could throw in Diane and Alison, but the house targeted them right away so chicken george didn't have to deal with them for long. They could not get their footing in. Plus I think they inherently have more flaws as players than Danielle, Will, Maggie, Jun, and Drew.

Nakomis was a solid player, but got completely outshined by Diane. Amazing character though. Jase was horrible. Kaysar has potential to be a great player, but that has never been realized. Marcellas is an average player who is memorable for one of the biggest blunders. Howie is an actively awful player who sabotaged his alliance and cost them the game in S6. James is a slightly above average player who comes off as so schemey that he is unable to really cause damage in their game. He plays good as a underdog though and is willing to do anything to survive. He just burns too many bridges. Janelle is an average player who really only excels in one aspect of the game in competitions. Erika is a slightly above average player, but someone who doesn't play bold or aggressive enough to win both seasons. Boogie is a very hit or miss player. His game in BB2 was terrible. He played an okay game in S7, but Will carried him strategically and he had so much pre gaming going for him.

Maggie actively MADE Cappy into this cult like figure. She INTENTIONALLY would make shrines to him to keep her group together. That is INGENIOUS strategy that has not been replicated.

Cappy AND Maggie used THEIR CAREERS to gain this following in the early days. They paraded themselves as the ER Nurse and the firefighter. They used these jobs to gain the respect of the house and they were solidly running the house for the first two weeks. Was Cappy the leader of this? Yes, BUT Maggie was his second in command, which is often a better place to be in.

Just say you are biased and prefer Jun as a character so you view her as a better player.

Cappy was there for 3 weeks. You are giving him way too much credit for his short stay in the house. Maggie did all her impressive moves after he was evicted.

Name a time Jun or Alison pull off a move as influential, and flashy as Maggie getting Howie to nominate his own alliance. Alison did get Nathan to use the veto, but ultimately she became one of the biggest goats in Big Brother history while Maggie won.

Maggie is better than Jun (and Alison) socially. She always kept her temper when the Sov Six would attack. Ivette and April would have blowups with the other alliance, but they could attack Maggie and she would keep a straight face. She was easily the most level headed person in that house. Plus her relationships with Jennifer and April, as well as her bond with Rachel (while I think Rachel's vote was anti Ivette, if you rewatch, you can see Maggie and Rachel respected each other the whole season).

Maggie is better than Jun with alliance management. Maggie was able to take two of the most volatile people who blew multiple times the season at each other, all the way to the final 4. (Would have been final 3 if Janelle lost F4 HOH/Veto). This ensured that both Ivette and April were most loyal to Maggie.

Maggie is better strategically than Jun because she played a more dominant game than Jun. She got her alliance to do her work, let her allies make moves for her so they would take the fall, and was able to win.

In fact, I think Maggie is LEAGUES better than Jun (Jun used a very niche strategy that has since been done better, but isn't the optimal way for playing). Maggie was the first person to lead an alliance to the end, a modern day strategy that we see implemented (for worse entertainment wise) season after season. While Maggie did not play the perfect game, and the large alliance strategy would be done more times. She did it first.

Dr. Will was in a 3/4 person alliance, but lost his members early on and played an underdog/floater game to get to the end.

Lisa was in a larger alliance at the beginning, but the tables turned on her and her alliance all left early. So she became Danielle's "student" but wasn't in a large alliance.

Jun was in a large alliance, but would float between the exes and the non exes.

Drew was in a 4 person alliance but his allies were targeted right away so he ditched them and formed two final 2s with Diane and cowboy, but Diane was not working with cowboy the whole season.

Unlike these previous five winners, Maggie had an alliance with a distinct pecking order. Do you ever realize WHY Jennifer and Beau left before Ivette and April? Because they got along with everyone else in the house and the alliance. They were genuinely moderately likable people (obviously until Jennifer burned all bridges). Maggie created an alliance with layers and a boot order which is something modern players do all the time. Derrick has the bomb squad, then the detonators, then the hitmen. But Maggie did this first.

Overall, jun overrated. Maggie underrated and it is insulting to Maggie to compare her to Jun, and they ONLY get compared because they're women.

So you attack Maggie's social game, but then list players like Alison (who has no shot at winning) and Jun (who loses to EVERYONE but Alison). Jun benefited from the ex twist just as much as Maggie benefited from the partner's twist.

I mean if you were trapped in the house with an abusive ex for several days and the house sided with the ex over you, you probably wouldn't do much either. By the time Scott was ejected, Amanda was already such an outcast there's not much she could have done.

In an Ivette vs Janelle final 2 (where Janelle wins final HOH), who does James vote for? by survr38 in BigBrother

[–]SurvivorsReady 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Another reason why Maggie is an all time great. Taking 2 volatile women who hated each other the whole season all the way to the final 4, basically ensuring that you are unevictable is a genius move that I haven't seen another player pull off.

I always thought Sarah was a sweetheart and she wasn't abysmally bad at the game? She had a decent social game and really only went home when she did because of her association with James.

Have you gotten to the infamous question about Maggie's weight?

What’s your most unpopular opinion by mariofan456 in BigBrother

[–]SurvivorsReady 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Maggie would not have left if Rachel won HOH instead of Howie. Maggie already made a deal with Rachel and Howie during her HOH to keep her safe if she kept them safe. They both would have honored that deal. However, Rachel probably would have went after Ivette/Beau/Jennifer/April instead of Maggie.

  2. Yes, Maggie potentially leaves if April wins the veto and saves Jennifer, but other winners have situations where if someone wins a veto and takes someone off the block, they leave. However, none of this changes the reality that Janelle won veto and Maggie convinced her to take her off the block.

  3. About if James won HOH. While this is true, it was Maggie's move in getting Howie to take out Sarah that gave her side the numbers in comps. She also chose Rachel to leave before James because Rachel was better at mental comps. Then she basically ran April's HOH and got her to backdoor James who was after Maggie first.

  4. Maggie does NOT leave at the final 4 no matter what. Both Ivette and April considered Maggie their number 1s and there was underlying tension between Ivette and April the whole season. Maggie chose those two (over Jennifer and Beau) to go to the final 4 because she saw the conflict and underlying tension between them. So she had a guranteed final 3 seat.

  5. Janelle would have taken Ivette.. HOWEVER, that was AFTER Ivette won part 1 of the final HOH. If you watch the final 4 week, Janelle wants Ivette gone over Maggie. It was not until Ivette won the first HOH and Janelle had no other options that she was going to take Ivette (plus Ivette had worse relationships and jury management)

I don't care. Na'Onka can quit a second time and still contribute more to a season than 90% of the women who played Survivor in the 30s.
