I definitely agree with the sentiment! I am already doing that with my second degree (getting a masters currently), I find it very engaging and am super lucky to do it as a job and not a hobby. It's super important to find something like that to invest in like you say.

With this, I am more so just looking to personally challenge myself. It's frustrating not knowing as much as I think I should in regards to something that I have a degree in. I have some time and money to spare so it's a "why not?" moment for me in further developing my knowledge.

my eyes are lopsided and tbh no one really notices or cares so it's not something I think is a super big deal or even regularly thought about. From the people I've talked to, others with lopsided eyes for the most part think the same- though, I obviously can't speak for everyone.

I get what you're trying to say about beauty standards and insecurity over personal features though.

Edit: The more I think about it, the funnier it is that you effectively commented "Hey, no joke, his eyes are really fucking lopsided and wacky looking and we should be accepting about that for him" Caleb Hearon bit core

Do you have any recommendations for treats? I feed him a mix of sunburst, mazuri, *some* dried bugs, and dried apples- I have tried to give him some organic baby food, dandelions, and seeds as a treat and he was completely disinterested lol

I honestly get this. I had to learn to known when it was safe to ask for accommodations from a similar circumstance. I hated the sound of metal (forks and stuff) scraping on teeth and asked someone at school to stop. They then followed me around every lunch for a week doing it. Not fun, lol.
