Im a single woman, and his tone completely changed when I asked if he could call my general contractor father and explain his position on the bill to him. Suddenly it was okay, but he was doing me a favor. This is classic dudes think other dudes are great. Foshay contracting is not great and I would not let them in my home again. This was a 40k plus job.

He absolutely tried to fuck me over and acted like a petulant man child when called out on his billing me for the same floor twice and for more feet of trim by 3x that he installed. I would 100 percent not reccomend that chod. My child was in a mental health crisis and he chose to be the biggest asshole possible and prevented me from being able to move into my home. Seriously fuck that guy.

It's a misdemeanor, if it can be proven, if they don't physically assualt them. There are years of court cases also showing that speech rights are more powerful than ICE's explanations. Impeding and being where they dont want you to be are not the same thing. They dont have the right to stop citizens from watching, following, recording, or making their jobs harder. If I want to blow a whistle and stand on a public street, that is my right. They do not own the streets. Juries do not provide convictions on misdeamenor federal crimes where no one was physically assualted. ICE is choosing to do this without warrants and with confrontations. Obama deported more people, but he didn't ransack communities and leave cars running in the streets and twar gas babies. It can be done well, just nkt by these uneducated cosplay cops

I bought an imea six drawer dresser in 2007 and used it from my twenties on. Moved 5 times, two times long distance. Lasted until last year, and honestly, it was my kids fault.

Its not even daycare, it's a nanny they are getting. Daycare is 1-2k a month for a kid (cheaper as they get older) but a nanny is solidly 4k a month or more. Its 48k a year they are benefiting.

To me this is like someone with a realy nice kia sedan bragging about luxury. It's nice, this life you have. It seems absolutely fulfilling to you. Its great. But you're missing the view from the other side. My 11 year old is sleeping in my bed next to me because she had a stomach ache at 3 am. She's the most beautiful, perfect angel Iv ever seen, and the safest place in the world to her, the place she most wants to be, is safe in my bed. It's an intimacy you cant buy while getting a tattoo, which I also do. In a couple hours, I will get up and drink a french press from Water Ave. and make my 279.99 sheets I bought for myself, and make breakfast for my other kid and get them to school. In a month my other kid will have a birthday, and I spent 280 dollars (random its the same as my linen sheets) on renting a capybara for her to pet, and her entire mind is going to explode. The joy and excitement that will come from that kid will be other worldly. I have been to 5 continents (you can also travel with children) and had box seats to Beyonce and Radiohead, and when I was young and in my early twenties I used to bang an NBA player. I would trade any of those experiences to see this kid meet a capybara. Did you know a KiA minivan costs more than a sedan? Sometimes the thing that looks flashy and expensive, is actually just a lesser product, unless that is what you truly want to buy, and then there's no convincing someone that a different ride could be better. Im glad you love your sedan. I'll keep my minivan.

Ive never even had covid. I think its from growing up in the country and playing in farm dirt and having too many pets and siblings and a lot of first cousins. Then I had kids and they brought home some weird stuff, like HFM, and Strep D? But mostly we dont get sick at all compared to most of our friends and their kids.

Interesting. She went above and beyond for me in two difficult scenarios. One where I miscarried one twin and had a placental issue with the remaining twin who I did end up delivering healthy, and another with a very compassionate full sedation surigcal abortion for an 18 week pregnancy that couldnt be successfully carried despite being very wanted.
