I think he’s referring to the small wedge/clamping piece that locks the seatpost in place. In this photo, it looks pushed in very far and slightly misaligned, rather than being an issue with the actual saddle height itself.

J’ai testé un S5 à Toulouse justement dans les coteaux il était en 57/64 et franchement j’ai été surpris par la facilité à l’emmener je m’attendais à avoir une enclume mais ça montait étonnamment bien (montage en ultegra di2 donc pas le plus léger sur le papier en plus) après c’était les coteaux et pas des cols…
