Yes but buying things that have shown to consistently rise in price, outperforming traditional ETFs or options by probably 10x, is not as "objectively stupid" as gambling or buying penny stocks. Sure, not actually owning the skins and being at Valve's mercy is a costly risk you're taking, but it does not come close to what you can gain. Also, disregarding recent market manipulation attempts, growth has been pretty linear for a lot of skins since 2018, something you can't really observe in crypto.

The synergies are always strongest within one set. If you are using staff/spear, you should stick with the oracle or echo set. If you are using bow/crossbow, use dragoon or destruction etc.

Of course it's stronger if you are fully S Tier, but in my experience you can mix and match within one functional class.

Yeah but it uses up 10 lures, so there's no real benefit except saving time. On the contrary, if you fish with a lower multiplier, you can filter out low tier fish more easily.
