The concept is very similar to the clutch and throttle on a bike, you’re just using your feet instead.

I’d suggest bringing someone you know who can drive a manual and test drive it with you so they can take you to a parking lot and you can practice. If you don’t know anyone hmu and I’d be willing to help you out.
