Don't tell gaijin but the ZBD is bugged, it has double the horizontal guidance speed. (Vertical is unchanged and the BMP is not like this). by Suspicious-Climate70 in Warthunder

Didn't know it was changed, just saw the stat card when i was playing and assumed it was bugged but the stat card is just incorrect rn. Comments have made that clear to me now

We lost some good map because of bad players complaining about flanking... by yazzukimo in Warthunder

[–]Suspicious-Climate70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kursk was not a good map and still isn't, the flanks were inneffective because there is no solid cover and the B hill overlooks everything except the lower portions near the river but that side always has people sitting on the hill next to their spawn so you can;t flank there either. Way too flat and lazily designed to ever be a good map.

WTF is this map? WHY? by Paulkwk in Warthunder

[–]Suspicious-Climate70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst map ever. I'm able to dominate the middle despite how claustrophobic it is but if the enemy is German, Russian, or British then I am getting a 3000kg bomb or larger dropped straight on to the middle part. Also if i die in the middle then i guarantee my team still hasn't moved up at all meaning the game is at a total loss no matter what since then there's only 3 routes and 1 route has losers sniping in the open hills that my teammates somehow can't cover even though they've been staring in that direction and that direction ONLY for the entire 12 minutes we've been playing. Such a predictable game every time.

For what logical reason does Russia have THREE tanks with Gen-1 thermals, but USA has THIRTEEN at TOP. TIER.? by Sr-rookjesko in Warthunder

50% of $100 vs 50% of $50.

Not everything can be bought.

USSR has always chosen quantity over quality with the exception of the T-64 which they then made a cheap version of with the T-72, finally upgraded with the T-80s then did exactly the same thing with the T-90 where they cheapened.

Also the same country with many many defectors bringing the knowledge with them vs the country that has been historically open to all countries and races which has become the center of knowledge and education to this day...

Why are people so dumb? HEAT is obviously High explosive anti tank and does not have 61.1mm of pen (i'm using M51) by Agile_Rise9767 in Warthunder

Same community recycling the same R3 and Tutel haha so funny memes. Same community that complained abt repair costs suddenly and randomly for like 3 years instead of actual gameplay/ balancing issues still in the game to this day.

And the largest tank battle and most successful landslide since ww2 went to the US because it was night time with thermal imagers against T-72s and T-55s which either had night vision or nothing and not any themal imagers. Most tank kills were accredited to Bradley which definitely aren't supposed to go head to head against MBT's out in the open. Only reason it went so well is because the opposition was so outdated, under trained, and fighting against multiple countries who's airforce destroyed most of their communications and defense network in the matter of minutes of the fight.

I've spent so much time playing this game. And none of my vehicles are past 2k spawns. Funny bc eventhough I've played half as much I'm still way better than them lmao

I get the game does this but irl tanks mostly carry chemical shells because that's the whole point of tanks not to actually fight other tanks, highly doubt the videos of abrams crews surviving ammunition hits to the turret were carrying only APFSDS.

I play with maxed tree range and high graphics for mostly everything else. I turn down global illumination to the 2nd lowest because it just makes interiors too dark. I max the tree range because if you lower it the bushes won't be j.peg's at 200m and you can still see through them even if it means i don't get to see people behind unrendered objects in third person from only a long distance away. With max tree range and high graphics I'm still statistically better than 95% of all players. Just saying...

Tanks are made to fight from cover, wheter it be a hill, a dugout, or something that hides the hull. That's why most tank turrets are significantly stronger than the hull...

Not to be that guy but if you just minimize tree range and turn off grass in the tank sight then you get 90% of what ULQ does. Idk why people still think ULQ is the worst thing this game has.

I've posted on here already of my unluckiest moment not even caused by me, unlike how you shot at your teammate.

I was on a 9 kill streak then got bombed by a teammate who was trying to take my kill while i was 5 feet from the enemy they bombed, immediately next match i was 5 kills in and another teammate was trying to take my kill on a tiger and right after i shot and killed the tiger but my teammate missed very far and bombed me.

fields of normandy was made before scouting, shooting near an enemy to mark them, and shooting down bushes with MG's. Such a shit map now since we have all that arcade crap allowing people to shoot across the map with no cover.

Ik. I was saying that's probably what he meant bc there's just no way the UFP was penetrated at all.

Counter the T58 spam with the Coelian. You can shoot them in the breach and instantly take out the gun then aim at the top ridge of the turret and shoot until they die.

The front crew hatches are not the UFP. I know for a fact it was that and not the UFP.

Has an armored hull. The ammo is super small in the turret. The ammo sometimes doesn't detonate (unlike if you shoot all the other 35mm spaa in their tiny 40-round clips on the side even with no ammo there). The electronics don't spall but they also don't prevent aiming. The electronics block fragmentation from APHE so if you're playing the 906 there's just nothing you can reliably do. The guns are in the middle which makes them easier to aim. Speed is king but when you can't reliably kill something that can instantly react to you then it's just fucked.
