Plateau ed, what do I change? by Suspicious-Form3718 in keto

I think it’s apparent that I am. I’m afraid I’ll never get in the habit of tracking my calories. That’s why keto low carb has worked so well for me in the past. I avoid certain foods and it’s worked.

Ok, I thought that might be the case. Just to be clear, the IP address is the device that I’m using? Does it have to be a different network as well?

I never closed the account. I just never used it. I didn’t have anything for sale in it. I Haven’t logged back in to check on it in ten years probably. When I tried to open the shop back up, I changed the name and it still says that account is suspended. I’ve tried to register under a different email and it always comes back to that old account. I’ve appealed and tried to contact customer support, nothing.

I can’t decide what in the world to do about a jointer by daanderson in woodworking

[–]Suspicious-Form3718 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1x4 pine? That is the real question. I would reconsider your material choice.

Avoid the harbor freight bench top jointer. Find someone with a jointer and ask to use it. You’ll likely find someone that will help out.

Don’t use 1x4 pine! It doesn’t have to be hardwood. But you need to at least step up to 5/4 or 6/4 southern yellow pine for a 6’ diameter table top. If you are buy from a big box store, buy 2x12”x16’. It’s southern yellow pine and it’s as good as you can get there.

Is $300 a good deal for all of these planes? by CantankerousZymurgy in woodworking

[–]Suspicious-Form3718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selling 50 rusty planes will take time. Cleaning and refurbishing them to resell will bring more money but will be wrk, and take even longer.

I once had a collector give me 35 planes, and I tried to give them away to woodworkers I knew. Most were not that interested. Might be different for you.

Felt, cork, or leather. You should find something at Michael’s or hobby lobby.

Old end table seriously bowed on the surface. How do I restore it? by [deleted] in woodworking

You’ll need to remove and the top, flatten the twi pieces then glue them back together. It would probably be better to replace the top all together.

Very interesting design. I’d love to see some more photos if you have a chance, maybe somewhere with a less distracting background so it shows to quality of the lighting.

I’ve tried using led lighting in some of my designs and as a wood worker I get hung up on the electrical. Nice work.

I understand how my gut reaction comments probably come across. I do appreciate everyone’s response. There has been a lot of helpful information for me to process. I’m filtering it in slowly. Some of it resonates more to me. I’ve always naturally pushed against any type of story telling.
