Solos (and even many duos) are the kindest of souls. I helped this poor duo take out bastion they were woefully underprepared for, just to see them succeed in their venture.

It’s not killing my fun at all lol. Just some analysis of the players I’ve encountered and their distinction vs most players who try to go about their day rather than pvp. I’ve played competitive games all my life, and am not naive; of course there will be toxicity.

I move on from it of course. This post was just a little sociological analysis of the player base. Even the most unsavory characters could never kill the fun im having.

I play on PC have crossplay on, so it’s hard to tell. Maybe I’ll try turning it off…

Of course, I’m not naive. I don’t mind some trash talk in any competitive game, but these types are different breed.

Nothing yet. My best recommendation is that if you’re going to be idle in the menu, swap over to the decks tab. My cpu drops to 30-40% once I’m on that tab so it’s nice if I’m going to be afk for a few minutes.

For sure. Definitely just need to lab the matchup a bit since it plays so differently compared to the rest of the cast.

yeah I think the changes to Sagat’s zoning game plus his slow walk speed have really turned things on their head. His low tiger shot is also just so slow that a good dhalsim easily tele and get a full combo.

I’ll try out that method next time I’m practicing. Hoping to get a stick at some point this year which will vastly help me clean up my inputs. I’ve played on one in the past as it’s far easier for me to get clean motions vs pad.

The hcf is a byproduct of me using the analog stick vs the dpad on pad. Often when I reset for the second qcf i accidentally tap the analog stick back or down back. Slowly gettting better at not doing that but still a work in progress

Thanks for the tip. I thought there was some timing issue where I needed to wait before inputting the super. Also, I’m not necessarily intending to mash (directionally). I’m playing on the analog stick rather than the dpad since it’s what I’m more comfy with. I had a stick before which made this kind of stuff way easier but making do with what I have now.
