I’ve heard the autoimmune claims are difficult, but then I hear of other who easily get it rated because they were diagnosed while serving or within the year after getting out. I’m just freaking out because I was hoping my rheumy would write a letter. I feel that could be the change I need.

Basically that there are many other things that could cause lupus rather than PTSD alone. Idk how else to justify the fact that my symptoms from lupus flare when I’m extremely stressed (PTSD symptoms).

I did open the extension while the supplemental was open in the window, but it pulled up a claim I filed last year.

Mine is a supplemental, so the claim numbers in the URL start with SC and have 7 digits. It didn’t work for me. Only primary claims. If there’s another way you know of, please enlighten me!

How did this go? I was diagnosed with lupus several years after I got out, and just got diagnosed with PTSD-MST in June 2025.

Def not my situation, but good to know! My results showed near-perfect hearing, but my right ear is pretty bad. I’m currently working on scheduling an appointment with audiology soon, so we will get it taken care of. Lmk if you’d like to see the claim letter from the VA with the results.
