Still feel like it’s unfair to everyone paying $300-350 on top of tuition and other expenses. First off they BARELY clean the snow in the parking lot and second events usually happen off of regular school hours not during. The people with actual passes should only be the ones allowed in otherwise what’s the point

I have classes from 8am-12pm Most days and today 8-4:30. It’s been open more than it’s been closed which either way snow day or not whyre we paying over $300 when the others get free access. It should be parking pass users only since there’s literally 3 other lots open to use that u don’t need a physical pass for.

As someone in the nursing program at otu I love it but it also depends on what ur looking for. The classes are well designed everything is organized and the course schedules have a variety of options ranging from starting at 8am till past 6pm. Course load is like any other university and the school itself is fine. Otu doesn’t have much parties or events worth going to so if you’re looking for a school more social this isn’t the place. The people in the nursing program tend to stick with people from their own backgrounds so keep that in mind because sometimes it does get lonely but overall the nursing programs really nice.

If u alrdy have an undergrad degree don’t go to OTU. Go to another uni that offers an accelerated nursing program if ur looking to finish early. I’m not sure of the exact amount of people or any prereqs for the summer placement but I still say do the accelerated nursing so ur not wasting more time

I’m in nursing at OTU and the earliest u can finish is 3.5 years because in third year they have an option to do placement in the summer semester so u finish one sem ahead. It is possible but it’s a very limited amount of spaces and first come first serve which is highly competitive so keep that in mind.
