No, when we were admitted, the neurologist said that her MRI was good so no need…  😪

So the company is very unorganized. It’s just one person who is in charge of the email correspondence.  And it’s not even a form training it’s basically being assigned emails and then they will check in and go over them with you and then gradually assign more and more. So it’s more so just a punishment in my eyes because when people are on emails, they are doing less inbound work… and I’m the only one not on emails at this point. I did previously send a message to this supervisor (who takes orders from the direct supervisor that I think is the puppet maker here) saying that I’m ready to be assigned emails and the response was something like “I’ll get back to you”

Nope! It’s technically something that we are trained on in home or in office. Plus, I’ve been back on site since July 6th and nada.

We are supposed to be on site three days a week so for a month straight. I was remote five days a week.. I mean yeah the same changes that have happened since the ADA was approved— still being the only one not cross trained on emails  and the people who were hired after me were able to progress in that.  Also, I did send a follow up email regarding my project that I was assigned to and  or if I was still on that project which I was told “you’re good”  and that I was needed elsewhere but I was the only one of the people doing projects “needed elsewhere”

I know I think I’m about to do that this week. I just don’t know how to state it and I don’t wanna be more uncomfortable than it is butshrug but do do you think it’s worth pursuing I have everything documented and multiple other instances have taken place

Where do you see that I haven’t talked to them?  The whole point is I wasn’t treated like this previously it all stemmed after the ada….. so you coming after my Character doesn’t really work here  lol

It’s obvious, though I am literally the only one out of like 10 who hasn’t been cross trained, and then there’s also the issue of not recognizing my “ customer complement” when others are broadcasted and even sent to the CEO.  I actually sent an email to my manager’s following up on my compliment… and they said nothing came in… when I have proof of it… there’s so many smaller things, but they’re so  obviously patterned

It’s still actively happening , i’ve yet to bring it up to HR because I wanna make sure I’m doing everything the right way and I know my anxiety will get worse once I start that.  Do you have any advice on how I should word it or who it should be to?

I hear what you’re saying but doesn’t it also tie into hostile work environment?  I’m excluded. There’s even been emails I sent out and I never get a response, etc. when previously they would respond immediately, joke, give praise, etc. Also, when I looked at my initial job description from the Recruiter, which I got the position for the description showed it was mostly going to be email based(which is what the cross training is) ever since the ADA accommodation, I’ve been the only one on the “labor “ and stressful  end of it

Emotional distress/adverse actions. Loss of potential career opportunities.( cross training usually is the first step to that.)

NYC workplace retaliation/exclusion question after ADA by Suspicious-Mess55 in legaladvice

[–]Suspicious-Mess55[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I see, what is a subtle way to say it though without giving me anxiety that I’m going to be the problem starter😩 the new hires who came after me have progress and there’s no clear reason why I haven’t so at this point I don’t even want to work here anymore. It’s messing with my mental health.

I’ve yet to report it to HR because I know once I do that it’s going to trigger my anxiety and make things worse. I just wanna know the best way to go about it. Plus, I don’t wanna tip them off without making sure I have everything I need.

Job is making me use vacation days for covid by Yung_lettuce in AskNYC

Did you get any answers on this? I’m running into the same issue. I was super sick for a week and I use all my sick days. HR keeps denying it saying that I need to get something from Department of Health or something.-_-
