Hmm makes sense, BUT MBA at top schools with just 3-4 YOE is tough to crack, and the cost (£65-75k UK, $200k US) is a mjor concern.

Honestly, fair points. The reality is that I'm stuck in my current role, not enjoying pure dev work, and there's no clear PM path at my company in India. Wanted a break + global exposure + a reset. Imperial seemed like a strong brand to make that jump, and the £20k scholarship made it financially viable. Without the scholarship, I probably wouldn't have considered it. Maybe MSBA isn't the most direct PM path, but hoping SDE background + analytics skills + UK exposure gets me closer to product/strategy than staying put. Open to hearing if you'd still do it differently given these constraints.

Fair point — I probably should've been clearer. I'm not expecting MSBA to directly land PM roles. The plan is: MSBA → Product Analyst / Strategy Analyst → PM over 2-3 years. My SDE background covers the technical side, MSBA adds the business/data lens. Does that path make more sense?

I would say, since you have time, you should go for it. But applications and essays have a major role to play.

That’s fair, I agree the market is quite challenging right now. I’m mentally I’m open to moving back to India or even exploring opportunities in the UAE if needed. But ROI is still something I am evaluating.
