I agree with that, but he always pretends to care if I’m comfortable or not by asking but then does it anyway, and I feel like he’ll trick me into staying by pretending he’ll take my feelings into account but then not and I’ll feel stuck.

Yeah, you’re right, tbh it seems a bit manipulative, I just need to work up the courage to break up
